I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), currently in my final year. My research, supervised by Professors Helena Veiga and Michael Wiper, focuses on stochastic frontier analysis with applications to efficiency measurement in higher education systems. I also collaborate closely with Professor Luis Orea , working on topics related to persistent and transient efficiency and meta-frontier modeling..
Throughout my academic career, I have developed extensive experience as a university lecturer and researcher, which has strengthened both my quantitative analytical skills and my applied econometric perspective. My work lies at the intersection of econometrics, applied statistics, and efficiency and productivity analysis, with a particular interest in stochastic frontier methods and their use in evidence-based policy for higher education systems.
I am currently seeking postdoctoral or early-career academic positions starting in 2025, where I hope to further advance my research agenda while contributing through high-quality teaching in quantitative methods, econometrics, and applied statistics.
